Update2: Apparently, the proportional font that it defaults to (because the font specified in the console.xml is not installed on my system) does not work copy and paste. (No proportional fonts do.) After setting it to Andale Mono, all is well.

The idea is, you specify in your DNS which hosts are allowed to send mail "from" your domain (i.e. specify a FROM: address with @your.domain.example.com in it).

At some point, Windows Update started failing on my gaming machine. I would get an error, and the C:\winnt\Windows Update.log file showed an error 0x800C0008. I did some searching and found the above page.
