I know what you are thinking: this is a simple afterimage effect. If you think so, walk away from your terminal until you think the after image should be gone. Go home and try it in the morning. i remember from my college days that almost every psych class referred to easy-to-conduct/cheap experiments done on cats. one that i recall being particularly interesting was done to determine cats visual acuity to stripes of a particular orientation. there was probably some sort of strange evolutionary explanation for their findings.
there have been shitloads of such studies done, and one in particular shows that indeed, everytime you masturbate, god kills a kitten.
