Lotus Developer Domain: RE: Invalid POST Request Exception & attachments in 5.0.11 and R6

Hi.

This was changed going from 5.0x to 6.0.

Originally in 5.0 the default was unlimited (specify a zero) then in 5.011 this was changed so that a setting of zero really meant 32 meg.

Now in R6, a setting of zero 0 means default to 10 meg - so that if you do not specify a larger number then the most that is postable is 10 meg.

Note: You MUST change the settings in TWO places (assuming you are using Internet Sites View):

1. In the "Web - Internet Sites" view for the site in question, on the "Domino Web Engine" tab, go to the section "POST Data" and set the "Maximum POST data (in kilobytes)" field to the maximum you want.

2. In the "Servers" view for the server in question, on the "Internet Protocols" tab, subtab "HTTP" in the "HTTP Protocol Limits" section, set the "Maximum size of request content" field to the maximum you want.
