The Gregorian Calendar - History
I was reading this about how the Calendars of Britain and continental Europe used to differ by 11 days numerically....I thought to myself, "That's crazy, how could they have possibly have dealt with having different calendars?"
Then I realized that we aren't currently all using the same time, even though standards exist (such as UTC). *sigh* Maybe in 100 years...
I guess I kind of think that these have something to do with the speed of communication involved.
