Hotsync Error 8009 - Helphand's Not So FAQ's
Something is dreadfully wrong with Xina's computer. This fixed one of it's multitude of problems. For some reason the newest palm desktop software crashes, or doesn't load the datebook. So, I installed the old version that she had on CD. Then the pilot wouldn't hotsync. This worked to fix it.

A quick search for "hotsync 8009" came up with this results and it WORKED! Within 10 minutes, my PDA was once again working properly! Thanks!
