I have come to the conclusion that Zippo Mfg. is really pretty spinless when it comes to supporting its products. I dont know where the fire marshal gets off putting presure on manufactures to stop freedom of speech as well as expression. There is deffinately something wrong when Camel was ordered to stop using Joe Camel to sell its cigerettes. And now the NFPA has be able to stop americans rite for freedom of expression. I wonder if there are others out there that feel the same way

R.I.P. zippotricks.com

i've got a trick that i feel is pretty cool, its not that hard to learn but looks imprsive. Ppl have probebly already done it but i've never seen it before:

1:hold your zippo open in your right hand(you can do something fancy to open it if you want)put your thumb flat on the base of the zippo and your index finger on the flint roller thing.

2:squeeze your thumb and index toghether untill the lighter pops out of your right hand and barrels throught the air towards yourleft hand, It'll automatically want to spin. try to aim up)

3:since your index finger was on the roller the zippo should be flaming and hot, so when you go to catch it try not to catch it flame-in-palm. It takes some practice to get it to only do one rotation. you can catch it however you want, in between two fingers, upsidedown handed or however you want - be creative.

The main thing to remember with this trick is you might not catch it the first few times, and that results in broken zippos, and that you shouldn't do it in really dumb places, where the zippo will fall and burn a house down, and kill a bunch of ppl. so be mildly responsible.

enjoy the trick

Look at that

ok heres a cool way to open your zippo.

1. hold your zippo in your right hand right-side up or up-side down it doesn't matter. place your index finger on the top on the opposite side of the hing, and your thumb right below it on the bottom of your zippo.

2. now snap your index finger and your thumb. ( snap your index finger down and your thumb up) this will throw your zippo in to some flips and spins in the air.

3. catch your zippo, and light it with another trick.

( this trick takes some time to learn and be responsible)

Another good Trick that I learn't:
Place your index and middle finger ontop of the Zippo and your thumb underneath the zippo. Then slide your index and middle finger downwards of the zippo hard and fast so that the zippo pops open, as your sliding your fingers down hard twist your wrist so that the zippo is facing the other way....
